Trust is the foundation of MakeMeMine. We aim to create a shopping and community experience that is respectful, transparent, secure, and reliable.
1. Our Commitment
We strive to help users shop with confidence, discover thoughtfully selected brands, participate respectfully, learn through educational resources, and receive support throughout their experience.
2. Curated Marketplace
Brands are reviewed before selling through MakeMeMine. Review may consider brand identity, product quality, customer experience, marketplace suitability, compliance, and values.
Acceptance is not a product certification, unconditional endorsement, or guarantee of permanent participation.
3. Product Authenticity
Brands are expected to ensure products are authentic, descriptions are accurate, images fairly represent products, products comply with law, and required safety and care information is provided.
MakeMeMine may investigate concerns and take appropriate action.
4. Customer Safety
We support customer safety through privacy safeguards, trusted payment providers, fraud monitoring, support, investigations, and clear policies.
No marketplace can eliminate all risk, but we work to reduce it.
5. Brand Responsibilities
Brands are expected to treat customers fairly, fulfil orders responsibly, respond to legitimate concerns, comply with law, respect intellectual property, and maintain accurate information.
Repeated failure may result in corrective action or removal.
6. Community Safety
We may investigate harassment, fraud, hate speech, impersonation, spam, threats, intellectual-property violations, or other policy breaches.
7. Fraud Prevention
MakeMeMine may verify customer or brand information, review suspicious transactions, delay or cancel high-risk orders, request verification, or restrict accounts involved in suspected fraud.
8. Reporting Concerns
Customers, brands, and community members may report product-authenticity concerns, safety issues, fraud, policy violations, intellectual-property concerns, or community behaviour.
Reports are reviewed in good faith as promptly as reasonably practicable.
9. Continuous Improvement
As MakeMeMine grows, we will continue improving policies, security, moderation, educational resources, and marketplace standards.
10. Transparency
Where reasonably appropriate, MakeMeMine aims to communicate clearly about policies, expectations, updates, and significant operational changes.
We may publish anonymized transparency reports in the future.
11. Updates
Material changes will be reflected by revising the Last Updated date.
