Episode 05
The Sale I Was Waiting For
Six months of discipline. Then 10pm, the kitchen, and full price.
Grocery store

six months. i waited six months for it to go on sale.

and?

it never did. i broke at 10pm and paid full price standing in my kitchen like a raccoon.

kitchen purchases don't count. no witnesses except the fridge, and the fridge has seen worse.

i told myself it was an investment.

in what?

in never having to think about it again. peace. peace with a shipping confirmation.

honestly cheaper than six more months of checking the price like it owed you money.

it sat in my cart so long the site emailed me. "you left something behind." yes. my dignity.

i added it to my waiting-for-sale list while it was already in my cart. i like to suffer in an organized way.

the sale was never coming. we all knew. the waiting was the hobby.

no regrets. would crack again. 10pm. same kitchen. worse lighting.

Waiting-for-sale list while it's in your cart is suffering at an elite level.
